The mild weather means that we here in the United Kingdom are to expect an influx of spiders over the next few weeks, as there are more instects available for them to eat:
I have wondered why I've been seeing more spiders than usual, even before I left Northamptonshire. Provided that the spiders keep to themselves and stay away from beds, I'm fine with them being in the house!

DeleteThere are some huge ones in Seattle right now crawling around people's floors. I almost walked into one hanging from a tree, face height, in the middle of the sidewalk this morning. Yuck. Not a spider fan, and definitely not ok with them being in my house. Have you seen the movie "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World"? You know that scene in the beginning where he lets the spider live because it's almost the end of the world and then the spider crawls into his bed in the middle of the night and bites his face? That's what I'm terrified of haha!
